Inline Product Surface Temperature (Ts) Softsensor

During derivation of the original Delta T Model, one of the derivation steps produced a relationship between the surface temperature (Ts) of a product being dried to the temperature drop (T_hot – T_cold = ∆T) of hot air after contacting the wet product. This relationships is presented as equation (1) without the derivation steps included.

Now an additional SoftSensor is available that may be continuously sensed using two temperature sensors and software to measure the (Ts) of the product temperature (Ts) in terms of the common process parameter (∆T).
